During the work-ordered day, members and staff work together, side-by-side, to perform all the work of the Clubhouse. This includes lunch preparation, administrative responsibilities, cleaning, community outreach, advocacy, fundraising, and much more.
At Clubhouse, meaningful work opportunities create genuine need for member participation. That need creates an environment where members are empowered, positive relationships are built, and natural supports are created. The meaningful work at the Clubhouse provides a genuine sense of purpose, structure and confidence that put it simply can save lives.
Through participation in Clubhouse, members are given the opportunity to rejoin the worlds of friendship, family, meaningful work, employment, education, and access to the supports that they individually need.
